We here at The Quarter are constantly striving to bring you the best publication we can. To that end, we surveyed the populace to see what folks thought of our inaugural edition, which was distributed at Martinmas. Here is a sampling of the responses we received:
"What are you talking about?"
"It was pretty good, except there were too many words."
"What a load of crap."
"Why are you talking to me?"
"No, I don't want to come back to your tent!"
The results clearly speak for themselves. We think we're on to something big; so big, we wouldn't be surprised if we walked away with the Blackfox award for SCA journalistic excellence*. (Note to editor: Remember to send gift basket to Society Chronicler. Call first and see what she would like to receive.) So, in the tradition of Luther's 95 Theses, we will continue to bring you what we consider "the people's publication."
* Yes, there really is such an award.
