The Quarter's Guide to Entertaining Yourself While Waiting For Court to Start
Sure, we know that things happen beyond
anyone's control that can cause Court to start
late. (Usually it's those SOBs from the BoD
pulling rank on our Kingdom! — editor.) Here
are some things you can do to keep yourselves occupied until things
actually get underway.
- Read The Quarter — 2 minutes
- Gossip about others, start rumors — all day
- Critique people's garb — 15 minutes
- Go for a golf cart ride around the camp site — 18 minutes
- Count members of Far-Flung attending Court (only works if someone in that clan is sitting the Throne) — 4 minutes
- Remove ticks — 10 minutes
- Complain about how much Kingdom events cost — 20 minutes
- Reminisce about "the good old days" — 1 hour
- Compare "No $#!+, there I was" stories — all day
- Pretend to be embroidering (gets old fast) — 12 minutes
- Count the number of Heralds the Kingdom has — 35 minutes
- Seriously consider taking up another hobby — 20 minutes
- Play "What's that smell?" — 6 minutes
- Fantasize about being King/Queen — 30 seconds
