Dear Nervous,First of all, I hope you aren't losing sleep over this issue-after all, an award won't get you a free cheeseburger at McDonalds, or anything else tangible, for that matter. If Her Majesty has a baseball bat, no, don't hug her. If you know her very well, then, yes. If she's smiling at you with open arms, then yes. Whatever you do, just don't dip her in a dramatic embrace and give her a big wet kiss. Then you will have His Majesty (and at least a dozen knights) to contend with. You wouldn't want to lose that award you just got, right?
